concentrate
Screenprinted textile.
I love the concentration that I´m in when working with these. I long for my mathematical pieces now. I can feel them approaching.
I have to see the piece first, with my inner eye, and then be faithful to it. It´s such a bless when nothing else disturbs me, when in my studio I get some hours of focus and my mind is just clean. It´s a bit tricky to get there though, as everything in our daily life knocks on the door...

so interesting! and yes so nice to not be interrupted and to let everything else quiet for a bit so that you can really focus! Such precious time.
Are these on stretched canvas?
yes, they are stretched canvas. They meassure 20 x 20cm. :)
do you stretch them after you print or before? I find your process fascinating.
I stretch the fabric with tape first on the printing table. After printing, when I´m done with my picture I have to fix the dye. If the piece is big i use the kiln that is in the workshop that I´m a member of or if a smaller piece just iron for a while.
These ones where stretched and stapled on to a wooden frame with canvas on (one you use for painting).
I´m glad You´re interested!
